TOM THE ATOM, BOOK 1

Carbon Atom is my name, Tom-the-Atom is my nickname!

GOAL: To meet The Carbon Atom (Tom-the-Atom), who will be our host.

He will introduce to you representants of the 92 types of atoms in the entire Universe. They are divided into ten families. The families are classified “by similarities.” Tom-the-Atom belongs to the family of the Non-Metals.

Tom-the-Atom entices Henry and Mary to visit his world once a day after school. The young reader will become familiar with the world of Atoms, which make up all the material in the Universe; the Earth, the planets, the stars, and you and me. The young reader is invited to become part of the world of Atoms and develop his/her understanding of how Atoms form everything.
